The Safe-Air pitot mast (gold) that I had installed way back when has been shown to crack around the weld area. Having your pitot tube flailing about while flying would not be fun if this was to let loose. I contacted Safe-Air and they sent me the improved version (blue). You can see how much more substantial the welding fillet is on this version. I drilled out the five rivets holding the old one in place, then started on fitting the new one in its place.
