Canopy

Making the canopy is one of the more difficult tasks in this project.

I bought a sheet of 1/8" thick UHMW plastic and made the required spacers from that. Taped them on the side rails and clamped down the side canopy frame weldments. The curvature on the sides is almost perfect with the fuselage. I will still need to shim on some .032 sheet stock to get this perfectly aligned with the fuseleage skin before drilling.
