Canopy

Making the canopy is one of the more difficult tasks in this project.

I put a platenut in the forward canopy weldment. I'm planning on putting a threaded bumper in here to keep the struts from misaligning the canopy when it is closed.

$The angles for the JDAir latch are slightly different than the Van's latch. They are just a fraction shorter, and have slightly different pivot points, along with some tapering. I have a bunch of extra angle material that came with the wing kit, so I got to work making a new pair.$
