We decided to get rid of the old pitot mast and replace it with the new, stronger blue anodized version. I drilled out the pull rivets holding this in place, and then realized that the aileron control tubes are directly in the way to prevent this from being removed. I had to disconnect the control tube and then was able to get this out.
